The World Inside

I find that professing Christians bring the world inside of us rather than bringing our faith to the world—the Word of God, prophecies, the manifestations of God living inside of us, and us being His adopted children.

Chapter Twenty-five of Leviticus says God commanded the Israelites through Moses to: bring “a sabbath” with them when they arrived in “the land” God was giving them (Leviticus 25:1-2).

Lord Jesus is our Sabbath (Mark 2:27-28; Hebrews 4:1-11).

The Law was the work of God’s people, even as it was an illustration of heavenly things—witout being the actual heavenly things. The works of the Law, like the Sacred Writings of Scripture, are about Jesus (John 5:39; Hebrews 10:9; Luke 4:16-21). Because, the LORD came to fulfill the works of the Law and to replace the sabbath according to legality; instead, the Christ became the actual, heavenly rest, according to God the Holy Spirit—for all who believe.

And I hear Chapter Twenty-five of Leviticus reminding me to bring Jesus to the world, not giving way to the traditions, spiritism, and witchcraft, allowing these to take root in the holy ground of my soul and heart, which

  • have been bought with a price and
  • have been indwelled by God Himself (John 17:22-23; SEE, John 17—The High Priestly Prayer).

The work is over, except that labor it takes to believe Jesus has done it. Accomplished it. Finished.

Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

(Philippians 2:12). The works we have is in bringing that revelation out of us with reverance.
